And Freddy saw that as an opportunity, using his glove to cut open Phillip's arms and legs and pulling the veins out of his body, in the process turning the kid into a grotesque, human marionette. He no longer just killed teenagers in horrific ways – he killed teenagers in horrific ways that reflected their own interests and/or fears! Poor Philip, the film's first victim, learned this the hard way. Turned+Into+Human+Puppet+(A+Nightmare+on+Elm+Street+3:+Dream+Warriors) A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 turned up Freddy Krueger's cleverness big time. When you bring Jason into the future, all you do is provide him with more creative ways to kill. His first kill involved dipping poor intern Adrienne's head in liquid nitrogen and smashing it to pieces. But Jason wasted absolutely no time resuming his stabbing activities once he awoke in the 25th Century. The villain was frozen, mid-murder, during the early moments of Jason X, not to be thawed out for another 400 years. And by "terrible," we mean "cut in half vertically while in mid-cowgirl." Desecration+of+Frozen+Head+(Jason+X) Cut+In+Half+During+Sex+(Jason+Goes+to+Hell:+The+Final+Friday) Jason has the market cornered on "inventive ways to maim and kill using Dick's Sporting Goods." It's too bad the victims here exist in a world where the Jason movies don't, or else they would have known that sex in the woods equals terrible, terrible deaths. This kill proved to be one of Jason's favorites, too, as he called back to it in Jason X.

And thanks to the magic of circa-1980's 3D, Andy's pain was felt by all.
When the oblivious Andy looks up from his handstand walk, he sees the killer just before being sliced in half from the crotch down.

This particular kill ranks as one of Jason Voorhees' most gruesome. She pushes the arrowhead through a bunk bed mattress then through Kevin Bacon. (*dodges thrown tomatoes, runs off stage.*) And wow, Mrs. Quick, efficient and, ahem, to the point.
